About Us

Who We Are

Silver Crescent CIC was created in 2025 by a group of community leaders, carers, and professionals who saw the growing needs of older Muslims — and the dedication of the organisations supporting them.

Many older Muslims experience loneliness, barriers to culturally-appropriate care, or difficulty accessing services. At the same time, community groups and non-profits are working hard but often lack the infrastructure, capacity, or resources to grow.

We exist to strengthen these networks and ensure that support for older Muslims and carers is delivered with dignity, compassion, and respect for faith and culture.

Silver Crescent CIC is overseen by a Board of Directors with experience in non-profit leadership, community engagement, health, finance, and policy.

We monitor our impact through data, community feedback, and annual reporting to ensure our work continues to meet the needs of the people we serve.

Silver Crescent

Silver Crescent works to improve the lives of Muslim elders by providing culturally appropriate health and well-being services, supporting caregivers, offering financial and legal guidance, and advocating for faith-sensitive housing and end-of-life care.
